An old family recipe for zesty bakes meatballs. Also great to spice up your meatloaf! Makes 24 1 1/2 oz. meatballs. Serves 5 persons.
COOKING DIRECTIONS
Makes 24 (1 ½ oz.) Meatballs
You will need:
1 1/2 lb. Ground Chuck
2 oz. Sausage (optional)
1 egg
1 package Pasta Partners Spaghetti Sauce Mix
1. Prepare spaghetti sauce mix according to package directions
Let simmer while preparing meatballs.
2. In a large bowl, mix thoroughly ground chuck, sausage egg, 1/3 cup water an meatball mix.
3.Spoon thin layer of Spaghetti Sauce (use Pasta Partners Spaghetti Sauce Mix for best results) across the bottom of a 9” x 13” pan.
4. Place meatballs in pan, cover each meatball with sauce.
5. Cover with foil, bake at 400 for 45 minutes.
LOW FAT TURKEY MEATBALLS
Use 1 ¾ lb. GROUND TURKEY in place of GROUND CHUCK and SAUSAGE. Follow directions above.
