Product Description

Filled with our handmade pasta and oriental spices. Makes a wonderful summer pasta salad; full of color and bursting with flavor! Add shrimp, chicken, or turkey! Serves 8 persons.

You will need: 2 cups chicken, cooked and diced (optional) (may also use shrimp or turkey) 1 red bell pepper, diced 3 stalks celery sliced 6 oz pea pods (may use ¾ cup frozen peas, thawed) 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts, drained ½ cup olive or peanut oil ¼ cup rice wine vinegar 3-4 Tbl. Soy sauce

Directions: Heat 4 quarts water to boiling, stir in pasta and return to boil. Cook for 5-8 minutes. Do not over cook- pasta should be quite firm for salads. Rinse with cold water until cool. Mix spice packet wilt oil, vinegar, and soy sauce in blender or shaker. Add vegetables to pasta. Pour dressing over pasta and toss chill at least 1-2 hours. Serves 8 people
